Music, culture and sport

Liverpool is a city full of character and creativity, with lots of interesting things you can see and do in your free time.

There are many museums and galleries you can visit, for music fans there is The Beatles Story museum and The British Music Experience, for art fans there is The Walker Art Gallery and the Lady Lever Art Gallery in nearby Port Sunlight.

As the birthplace of The Beatles, and other iconic music artists, Liverpool has a buzzing music and nightlife scene, with music concerts on and entertainment every night of the week.

Home to legendary football clubs like Liverpool and Everton, the city is passionate about sport and community spirit. With Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium recently opened and Liverpool FC’s stadium in Anfield, you can take a tour of the football grounds, or you may even be lucky to see your favourite team play in person.

To relax, take a stroll along the historic Albert dock waterfront or relax with your friends in Sefton Park.
