Welcome to Scotland!

In February, 15 of the 2024-25 justice and law GREAT scholars took part in a study tour hosted by the University of Strathclyde Law School in Glasgow.

During the three days, scholars had the opportunity to learn more about Scottish Law – enjoying fascinating lectures and seminars and going on a legal history walking tour around Glasgow city centre, stopping to learn about some significant areas of interest and cases.

They also spent an afternoon at the amazing Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and discussed some of the cutting-edge issues in law today – AI, the environment and human rights, and the ‘not proven’ verdict in Scottish Law.

Getting together for the first time as a group at the University of Strathclyde Law School.
