The Southampton Electrochemistry Group has a leading international reputation for both research and education.  Research spans the breadth of modern electrochemistry from fundamental studies of electrode surfaces and reactions through to applications in sensors, batteries, and fuel cells. The group has been active in education in Electrochemistry for over 50 years. 

Our MSc in Electrochemistry and Battery Technologies builds upon our international reputation for excellence in research and education in Electrochemistry by offering an advanced, postgraduate education from the fundamental principles through to applications in energy storage, energy conversion and Electrochemical Engineering. With a strong emphasis on the fundamentals and techniques exploited in electrochemistry and battery research, the course will prepare students for a successful career in industry.  It is also a fantastic steppingstone to PhD studies.

We are passionate about investigating what makes us human, from language and music, to philosophical debate and history and culture in all its forms.  On our MA English Literary Studies (Postcolonial and World Literatures) programme you’ll explore the interrelations of text, theory, and culture across the field of English literary and cultural studies. We’ll work with you to:
