GREAT Scholarships 2022

There are three GREAT Scholarships available for the MBA Tourism Management programme for a student from China (one), Sri Lanka (one) and Thailand (one). The scholarships are up to the value of £11,000.

GREAT Scholarships for justice and law 2022

The University of Cumbria has a justice and law scholarship available for the 2022-23 academic year, for a student from Malaysia.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2022.

GREAT Scholarship for justice and law subject information

MSc. Criminology, Risk and Safeguarding 

The MSc in Criminology, Risk and Safeguarding focuses on digital victimisation, rehabilitation policy and practice, and risk/security management, among other areas of crime-related harm.  You will be equipped to respond to a range of complex challenges faced by multi-agency professionals with a remit to safeguard communities. 

This programme is distinct in its comprehensive analysis of risk and safeguarding as criminological issues, grounded in an acknowledgement of the correlation between the exploitation of children and adults at risk, and, subsequent offending behaviour.

MSc. Legal and Criminological Psychology 

Our MSc course is ideal for gaining deeper insight into Legal and Criminological Psychology. Through the study of modules such as Criminal Psychology, Offender Behaviour and the Criminal Justice System, you'll develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics in forensic settings.

We will look at ways to work with prison populations, explore the criminal justice system and you'll have the chance to examine practice and research from theoretical perspectives. 

You may also wish to continue your academic career by undertaking a PhD in criminology or psychology.

MSc. Psychology: Interpersonal Violence and Abuse  

If you have a background in psychology, law, sociology or criminology, our MSc course is ideal for gaining deeper insight into the effects of being abusive or being abused. We look at the impact of abuse in different international, cultural and social contexts, and you'll have the chance to examine practice and research from theoretical perspectives. 

There are a wide range of career options: working for a National Crime Agency, prison drug services, or offender management. You may also wish to continue your academic career by undertaking a PhD in either criminology or psychology.
