GREAT scholars social media ambassador programme

September 2024 saw the launch of our social media ambassador programme.

GREAT scholars who are studying in the UK this academic year (2024-25) were invited to apply for the opportunity to feature in our social media content and participate in events, focus groups and more.

As part of the application process, students were asked to create a short video to introduce themselves and share ideas they had for social media content. Interest in the programme was high and 17 scholars were selected to be a part of the programme.

• Fa, Favour, Yayan, Vicky and Muntasir shared more about their experiences so far studying in the UK for International Students Day on 17 November.
• Join Kunal from the University of Birmingham for his #DayInTheLife.
• Transport planning and engineering student Emilio, showed us how to travel around Leeds by train, bus, bike and on foot.
• Adi shared his #DayInTheLife as a music student at the Royal Northern College of Music.
• Scholars shared some of their winter activities - visiting markets, experiencing snow and Christmas lights.
• Mimi welcomed us to her university city of Bradford, ready for celebrating Bradford being the UK's City of Culture 2025.
• Music Vocal Performance student, Fa, shared her day in the life at the University of York.

The ambassadors are a pleasure to work with and we look forward to continuing to work with them in 2025.
