GREAT Scholarships 2021

The University of Nottingham has five GREAT Scholarships available for the 2021-22 academic year for students from China (one), Malaysia (one), Mexico (two) and Pakistan (one). These scholarships are available for masters courses in all subject areas, except in China where the scholarship is limited to subjects in engineering, science, medicine and health. Key subject information for China

MPH Public Health will provide you with knowledge and practical skills to succeed in public health, whether you're a doctor, nurse or healthcare professional. You'll be taught by globally renowned experts, learning valuable skills in epidemiology, planning, medical statistics and research methods. Choose a range of modules to tailor your studies to your interests, with specialisms such as health promotion, health economics and tobacco control. We also offer a specialist MPH in Global Health.

MSc Structural Engineering integrates theory, design, application and practical considerations in structural engineering, covering topics such as steel and concrete structures, bridge engineering and earthquake engineering. You'll have the opportunity to apply advanced structural analysis using state-of-the-art software, and to develop your skills in a major structural design project. On completion, you will be able to conceive, model, design and analyse a wide range of innovative structures.

MSc Financial and Computational Mathematics combines expertise from our Schools of Mathematical Sciences and Economics. You'll learn techniques and skills that are used across the financial sector to quantify and hedge risk, and work with statistical software to develop your skills in mathematical modelling. Through our partnerships with leading industry experts, representatives of companies such as Credit Suisse, Capital One and Bloomberg will provide guest lectures during the programme.

MSc Economics focuses on current economic thinking, providing the technical tools for understanding and developing microeconomic and macroeconomic models. You will also build a thorough knowledge of econometric techniques, and you can focus on your interests and career goals by choosing from a range of specialist modules. Our School of Economics also offers a range of other MSc programmes including Behavioural Economics, Development Economics, Financial Economics and International Economics.

MSc Computer Science will give you the skills and knowledge to prepare for a range of high-level computer science careers and allow you to explore some of the latest developments in computing, software and artificial intelligence. Choose from modules such as mixed reality technologies, big data, machine learning and robotics. You can specialise in MSc Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence). Our School of Computer Science also offers MSc courses in Data Science and Human Computer Interaction.

MSc Electrical and Electronic Engineering covers a variety of topics ranging from electronic design and electrical machines to communications, software engineering, power generation and renewable energy systems. Our Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering also offers a range of specialist MSc courses in areas such as computer engineering, power electronics, sustainable energy and sustainable transportation, to develop your skills as an engineering professional or a future researcher.

 

Key information for Mexico

MA Special and Inclusive Education examines the educational rights of children and the barriers currently preventing inclusion and equal education. You will explore the specific teaching needs of children with learning difficulties, physical and sensory disabilities, intellectual and communication impairments, literacy difficulties, dyslexia, autism, ADHD and SEBD. We will support you to gain placements in local schools, providing experience and the potential for small scale research projects.
