Staffordshire University has over 100 years of education heritage, dating back to 1914. It became North Staffordshire Polytechnic in 1970 and was granted university status in 1992. The City campus is based in Stoke-on-Trent and features excellent learning and teaching facilities, good transport links and stimulating social spaces. The University has Centres of Excellence in Healthcare Education in Stafford and at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, with considerable investment in these specialist facilities. The institution’s first London campus, the Digital Institute London, opened in September 2019.
Staffordshire University was one of the first higher education institutions in the country to teach computer science and we continue to lead the field today with the highest rated course in the country for computer game design and esports.
GREAT Scholarships 2021
Staffordshire University has two GREAT Scholarships available for the 2021-22 academic year for one student from India and one from Malaysia for any subject.
