GREAT Scholarships at the University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is offering GREAT Scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year, each worth £15,000.

Scholarships are available for students from:

  • Bangladesh
  • Ghana
  • Pakistan

Eligible programmes: All on campus, full time taught master’s programmes apart from MBA, MPhil, Master of Architecture (MArch), Architecture and Urbanism (MA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Clinical Medicine and Dentistry degrees.

The following Master’s by Research courses are not eligible for the scholarships:

  • MSc by Research Advanced Functional Materials and Analytical Science
  • MSc by Research Astronomy and Astrophysics
  • MSc by Research Atmospheric Sciences
  • MSc by Research Basin Studies and Petroleum Geoscience
  • MSc by Research Biochemical and Bioprocess Engineering

  • MSc by Research Biomaterials
  • MSc by Research Catalysis and Porous Materials
